Je tiens à nouveau à remercier les galeries participantes qui sont les véritables donateurs de cet évènement. Non seulement nous ont-ils prêté leur artistes pour l'occasion, mais la moitié de la vente qui leur reviendrait est celle qui est remise à Amnistie internationale. Ce type d'initiatives « hors galerie » vise à démystifier la pratique de collectionner l'art actuel, et cette denrée précieuse n'est possible qu'avec le concours des galeries. Ces dernières prennent de grands risques et travaillent avec acharnement à faire fleurir la carrière de leurs poulains, ne voyant leurs propres bénéfices qu'à très long terme. Il est important de souligner leur apport inestimable dans l'écosystème du milieu de l'art et de les visiter le plus souvent possible en signe de reconnaissance, et pour son propre plaisir bien sûr.

I would like to make a point of thanking the participating galleries who are the real donators for this event. Not only did we borrow their artists but the portion of the sale that would be going in their pockets is the one that is given to Amnistie internationale. This type of « out of gallery » initiatives aims to demystify the act of collecting contemporary art, and this precious thing is only possible because of galleries. They take great risks and work really hard to make flourish the career of their artists, seeing their own benefits on the very long term. It is important to state their invaluable contribution to the art ecosystem and to visit them as often as possible, as a gesture of recognition, and for one's own pleasure of course.
