Anyaeji is the recent recipient of the Habland prize which selected her from amongst numerous Montreal applicants to the Art Omi Residency program in upstate New York. She is currently a PhD candidate in Concordia’s Fine Arts Program. Anyaeji holds an MFA degree from Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts, Washington University, in St Louis, Missouri and a BA in painting from the Dept of Fine Arts, University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. Her work has been exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions internationally since 2005. She has taught at the university level in numerous programs in both the USA and Nigeria and has completed nine residencies/workshops since 2008. Anyaeji's work has received international recognition in the form of fellowships/grants and academic awards. She is both a member and founding member of several professional artist associations in North America and Africa.
