L’objet est de plus en plus présent en art contemporain. Un nombre croissant d’oeuvres se présente soit sous forme d’objets isolés, soit intègre l’objet dans ses composants. Il devient le centre de l’oeuvre ou son medium. Il redevient un "véhicule", un témoignage privilégié pour délivrer un propos. Objets de tous les désirs voudrait montrer ce pouvoir de l’objet sur notre réceptivité, sa force d’attraction, la place de plus en plus envahissante qu’il prend dans nos sociétés.
'The object’ is becoming more and more present in contemporary art. There is an increasing amount of artworks being presented either in the form of isolated objects or as the object that is being integrated into its components. The object comes to be either the center of the artwork or served as the medium. It transforms into a “vehicle” and a privileged witness in providing a message. ‘Objects of all Desires’ aspires to show the power the object has on our receptivity and its attractive force in the most invasive place in our societies.
