In (de)celebration of the Vancouver Olympic Games, Red Bird will be holding all-night events that follow a mandate of exploring the role of play and subversion in the expression of dissension towards nationalist and corporate hierarchical systems. All are invited to attend, participate, voice their opinions, or remain silent and peruse the many free, free-form and freely associated events that highlight community, play, and the role of site-specificity over and above the celebration of a nationalized ethos of competition!

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: a projection of the results of new-and-improved Olympic logos + an installations by Jessica Campbell and Bridget Moser, and Alex Penfold + ”pop art”: a balloon mosaic + performances throughout the night, including a very special concert by GAMBLETRON and Jen Reimer + open studios, games, music, fashion ..
