This event is the first of our specific mentoring projects, in collaboration with Art Pop Montreal, the Redbird Studios Gallery, and the EMSB (English Montreal School Board), designed to motivate and cultivate creativity through a positive partnership between artists and students.
Using six artists and over 12 students from EMSB schools in the creation of an enormous black and white mural (5’x 80’), the EN MASSE Artist Mentoring Project seeks to offers students an opportunity to feel part of a vibrant artistic community that exists outside of their school and home lives, allowing them to develop a network with other artists while forming potentially long-lasting creative partnerships.
