The WORKS ON PAPER PROJECT is a selection of 2-D works that have been curated to highlight and promote the work of Montréal based artists. Each of these works are available for SALE to the public at affordable prices starting at $50 and capping at $300. The works will be kept in a large book format, and the public is encouraged to come view and or purchase any of the works year round by appointment, and at all Redbird Gallery events.
The Redbird Gallery is a non-profit artist-run center, attached to 30 artists working in 8 studios. We are located at 135 Van Horne, in Mile End’s old garment district, and are a part of the growing arts community. We are involved in creating connections between people through promotion, production, and showing work from diverse visual arts disciplines. Red Bird Gallery actively seeks out artists, through an open application process we provide opportunities for fringe artists to connect with curators and the public. Shows and events at Red Bird do not adhere to the gallery protocol. Events are treated as theatrical, demonstrating the fluidity of roles and providing a context for the playful understanding of alternate ideas.
